When reporting a problem, it helps to include your iOS version, your PostKeep version (Settings → About), and what you were doing when it happened. Never send us your passphrase — we will never ask for it, and we could not use it if you did.
No, and this is by design. Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your passphrase. We never receive the passphrase or the key, so there is no copy of either for us to look up and nothing we can reset. If you have an encrypted backup file and know its passphrase, restore from that instead.
Export an encrypted backup from Settings → Export, transfer the file to the new device, and import it there. You will need the passphrase. If you turned on iCloud backup, the vault restores with your device backup.
Most failures are a post that requires a login to view, or a temporary network problem. PostKeep keeps the item in a queue so you can retry it. If a particular site fails consistently, send us the link and we will look at it.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple rather than by us. Use reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to your payment details and cannot issue a refund ourselves.
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PostKeep → Cancel. Your posts stay on your device after cancelling; nothing is deleted.
On your device, encrypted. PostKeep has no server holding your posts. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, email support@postkeep.app with the detail and we will acknowledge it within two working days. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly.
